Financial Literacy at EB DeSilva

posted Oct 3, 2014, 2:26 PM by Cecily Nago
Our sponsoring Financial institution, CU Hawaii, recently launched our financial literacy partnership.  The program teaches students to set savings goals, make their own deposits, develop a growing sense of independence and the importance of saving money for their future.  The CU Hawaii Moola Moola savings plan was developed specifically for children between the ages of 0-13.  Incentives and prizes earned through savings are available for every $5.00 deposit.
The first 100 students that participate will receive $6.00 deposit to his/her account.  (Covers CU Hawaii's $5.00 minimum to open an account and $1.00 membership).
Accounts can still be opened during deposit days (see attached flyer for dates).  Child needs to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Please call
Cecily Nago, PCNC for additional information at 974-4855 ext 301.
