E. B. de Silva Elementary School Community Council

The School Community Council is a partnership involving parents, students, school staff, the Board of Education, businesses and the community. The SCC plays a vital role in the DeSilva Community as it provides a forum through which members of the school community can contribute to improving student achievement and school performance. The purpose of the SCC is to make recommendations to the principal on academic and financial matters. The principal, in turn consults with the SCC on a variety of issues that affect student learning. The SCC is made up of the following members: Two teachers, one support staff member, one parent representative, one community representative, one student representative and the principal. SCC meetings are held once a month and open to the public. Please call the office to find out the dates and times of the next meeting.

Monthly Meeting Day and Time: 3^rd Tuesday of each month, 5:00p.m. – Room TB-2
